How to disable l2tp dynamic connection on Mikrotik?
Good afternoon. On Mikrotik, a VPN was raised via an L2TP server. The client connects, everything is fine, but when the Internet is broken at the provider, the client will not connect according to the Binding created in the L2TP Server interfaces, but the connection creates a dynamic interface. The client has an ASUS router with minimal VPN settings, server name and password. How to force the client to use the server created for him in the interfaces when the connection is broken, and not create a dynamic one?
The very essence is that when the connection with the client is broken, the connection is created dynamically on Mikrotik, but the Internet does not work for the client and there is no connection to the local network until you delete this connection in the Mikrotik interfaces. Those. after a break, the ASUS router of the client connects to the Mikrotik, but does not work until you delete the dynamically created connection. When the connection is broken, I turn off L2TP Server Binding with Netwatch, then turn it on when I resume it, but regardless of everything, a dynamic connection is created.
Maybe there is another solution?

Try to reduce the keepalive timeout in the l2tp server settings, or change the settings so as not to use L2TP Server Binding. It looks like the problem is that l2tp clients get the same statically assigned ip address. You can try to solve the problem by creating a separate ip-pool for l2tp clients.
