How to organize a proxy server for the visit log?
Good afternoon. The organization is resolving the issue of reorganizing the computer network without replacing the SCS.
It is necessary:
1) Organization of access only to users authorized in the domain. I see the SQUID solution.
2) User visit log and report generator, web browsing.
I ask for advice with the choice of tools:
On the first point, apart from the option of authorization on SQUID and binding to AD, I do not see others. Tell me - is there anything else?
On the second point - if there is already a SQUID, then:
Are there any log analyzers, web panels recommended for 2019? or SARG, lightsquid and other things from Google are relevant now and there are no alternatives? Traffic is now HTTPS - will it work with it?
There is another option to put Mikrotik, and make it either: proxy, or take NetFlow. But according to NetFlow, I suspect that there will be a lot of unnecessary information, since it will mirror all packets in the database.
But then it is not clear how to authorize domain users.
The main question: proxy for authorization must also be placed in the connection break between the switch and the router, or can it stand as a domain controller plugged into the switch with one port?

There are two options, transparent proxy, and non-transparent proxy. In order for HTTPS to work without additional settings, this is not a transparent proxy server, you will need to approach each computer and manually indicate the proxy server in the system or in the browser, if there are too many hosts, then we tell the DHCP server what it would give as the default gateway The IP address of the proxy server, and the internet is full of guides on how to make friends between squid and htpps when using a transparent proxy.
UPD0:
There is not a lot of redundant information
Forgive me all conceivable and unthinkable experts... But your task is solved by the same Kerio Control out of the box with beautiful reports and graphs... only it costs money.
About firing a cannon at flies, we can mention the ELK stack, which eats logs ... for example, a squid.
