How to disable automatic power consumption (and accordingly power) in Windows 10?
I have a problem with my Dell Vostro3558 laptop - when booting up, the message The AC power adapter wattage and type cannot be determined appears.
The battery may not charge.
The system will adjust the performance to match the power available.
I understand that the problem can be both in the charger and in the motherboard. I will deal with the problem later, but now I want to know if it is possible to somehow disable this option "The system will adjust the performance to match the power available". Because now the system is running at the lowest settings. Please do not send me to the power settings, there is a circuit for the highest performance, but this is clearly not the case. Are there any other ways to remove the restriction when working from the network. Thank you.

Windows has nothing to do with it at all, the message is issued even before the BIOS loads the operating system, even without a hard disk, exactly the same message will be displayed, and the operating system settings do not affect.
There are two possible problems here:
a) a malfunction in the power supply
b) a malfunction in the motherboard
Just in case, in the Windows energy saving settings, set the "High performance" mode, in this mode the processor always runs at maximum frequency.
