How to determine when was the last read from HDD?

Sent it in for repair. They returned. Nothing was repaired.
I wonder if the hard drive was connected to another computer?
You can accuse me of paronoia, but I don't like it when strangers read information on my disks.

Stop worrying and start encrypting data, for example. You can use dd and then mount the resulting image. And you won't know anything :-)

On NTFS, you can see the last access time for files and folders, for example, in Far.

As soon as you turn on the HDD, the counter recording the last reading (if it exists) will switch to current. time. Those. it's effectively useless, so I'm not sure it exists.

I didn’t really understand what I need to know specifically, but perhaps inotify will help.

easy to accuse me. :-) That's just the meaning of this? If they connected your hdd to another computer and looked at something corny (!), but didn’t change it, then you won’t know anything.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
