Yes, this is normal workflow. Apparently they found somewhere on the side and solved the problem.
No need to get to the bottom of customers (Point 6 is superfluous.). Sometimes they may respond in a month or two. Just write once to all the specified channels and move on to the next one. After a couple of months, you can delete from contacts without regrets.
There are probably few responses from customers without a rating, or something is wrong with the task.
Take into account the fact that customers can be "random" - a student who posted a lab, a company employee who decided to quickly outsource his tasks, and so on. In such cases, the deadlines can quickly go out and do not respond, because it is not relevant and too lazy to explain.
Try to "break through" to customers with a rating, if a person has been working on the exchange for a long time and a lot, then maybe he will have something and there will be more than one, but they don’t ask for contacts. Indians stuff them more, and then put them in the status of "web and mobile development $10/ho"
It’s just that you’re not alone, when I hire 10 people I also add them to Skype, I wait 10 minutes when one of them answers after adding, then I communicate with them and hire someone, the one who didn’t immediately call back and didn’t add just pass by.
So your problem is fake.
