How to design a network?

It is necessary to design a wired LAN for 5 departments with 3 PCs each. Communication between departments should be carried out either using a gateway or bridges. Also, each workstation must have access to both the server and the global network.
How to properly organize the network in accordance with the requirements and what equipment to use? Is the schema correct? Also advise, please, guides on designing of such networks.

Is it an industrial network or the subject of a term paper? The use of the term "bridge" surprised me a little.
Is the schema correct?
If the purpose of the diagram is to display the physical topology, then approximately yes.
and what equipment to use?
With such vague requirements (and without specifying the budget) - almost anyone. A switch that supports 802.1q vlanes, a router that supports 802.1q, NAT and is able to connect to your ISP.
Also advise, please, guides on designing of such networks.
In this case, "design" is too strong a word. If this is a term paper, then there should be a textbook. If an industrial network - then there are really two active network devices; besides, I believe that without operating experience it is unproductive to delve deeply into "design". If you still feel itchy, then in the books of the CCDA course, as far as I know, there is useful information among the marketing Khokhloma.

I would put an L3 switch in the center and route routing between networks on it.
