How to deploy AOMEI Backupper image to vmware?
I created a backup disk with Windows and boot sectors, reinstalled Windows, didn’t want to roll back the image, but there were some files left, you can connect the image as a virtual disk, but those files that you need must be obtained through the export of a special program ... hemorrhoid is still the same, you need to expand the image AOMEI Backupper on a virtual machine, I used to do it a few years ago, now I can’t get a taste of how to do it normally.
What I did: I created a w7 virtual machine, installed Windows there, split the disk into 2 parts, threw the backup on one, temporarily installed Windows on the second, booted from the AOMEI boot image and started restoring only the C drive without boot sectors. As a result, Windows refused to boot :(
The second option, I made another virtual hard disk and connected it to an existing virtual machine, from one disk I restored the other completely with boot sectors, but it didn’t work :(
I was already lost in the logic, I tried a couple more methods, but I don’t remember the sequence, who did what prompt?
