How to backup Linux in Google Cloud Storage?

Share your experience, practices, what is more convenient / more reliable to backup files from a Linux server to Google Cloud Storage?
From what I currently know, the official gsutil (cli) and gcfuse.
The question can be considered as just uploading files (there is already software that creates archives of files and databases) and complex solutions, if any.
