How to correctly install and configure the server for the office + Asterisk?

Good day!
Available: a small office running on a Keentik router and with a couple of SIP phones on Mango + switch 4 in the office. The park consists of 5 screw machines. Collected office for 1 evening from what was.
I would like to: assemble a normal working server (there is a powerful PC) on Linux (FreeBSD, Debian, Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, whichever is easier) with normal network equipment (upgrading the existing one is already in progress) and its own virtual PBX on board (most likely Asterisk + FreePBX). But there is no experience in deploying such systems, there is a desire.
It is necessary to configure the server for the incoming line from the provider, to the local network; configure network monitoring; deploy the PBX and do the initial setup.
Tell me how and on what you can deploy a network server (which will take over DHCP) and install a PBX?

Judging by the question, your level is junior.
Then the following is for you. On a machine older than 2 giga 2 cores, install proxmox. proxmox.com. This will be your training ground. (This is Debian). On it, create three virtual machines freepbx, elastix (both CentOs), ubuntu server.
Try connecting freepbx elastix. When you understand the trunk, queues, ivr, routes, etc. take up ubuntu, compile asterisk and try to implement your business logic. It's a long road, but it's worth it, and before you get to ubuntu, you will already have all your ideas implemented. Such a path is needed in order not only to be able to deploy, but also to repair.
In addition, you will have to master port forwarding, tcpdump and dynamic shaper.
Basic knowledge of the command line is a must.
In general, "the road will be mastered by the walking one," I wish you good luck.

Get a clean Asterisk. For a small office, the dialplan will be small. You can choose any distribution. It is advisable to install Asterisk from source

Colleagues advise FreeBSD and pure Asterisk, and then manually configure it to suit your tasks.

Good afternoon!
Try the Elastix build. It contains an already configured Asterisk and a web interface for management.

Look towards the X server
In my opinion, up to 8 users, the Lite version is free. ICS is built on FreeBSD and Asterisk is wired into the distribution
