How to delete a partition in gparted?

There is an external hard drive, which is divided into two partitions:
7b4bdc92061d4739a946082b396c2cd4.png
one partition in ext4, the second - ntfs
I want to merge these partitions so that the disk becomes solid, but first you need to delete one of the partitions.
The problem is that in the context menu there is no active delete and in the menu about the same thing.
I will be glad to help.

Partitions need to be unmounted.

@estj

keep in mind that there are different types of partitions - primary and extended, do you definitely need one large primary?
If so, then after unmounting, gently poke into the cyan frame with the right mouse button ....
