How to delete a corrupted file in Windows 11?
"Safe Mode" does not start. It is not removed from the command line. It is not an option to start from a CD-disk (a laptop with an idle drive).

Can you check the disk for errors first? And run chkdsk?

Will Norton/FAR delete this file if you boot from a flash drive?
I ask to understand whether it is worth bothering with booting from a USB flash drive.
