How to deal with soldering irons?

Friends - iron workers who themselves climb into the insides of their iron horses, I appeal to you.
There was some talk here that monitors can be easily soldered and repaired and all that. At least 40 pieces have found a second life in my hands. This saves money very well and allows you to warm up with soldering small items.
The problem lies in the soldering station itself. This canoe was bought here . According to its performance characteristics, this station is complete crap. Obviously, for 20 bucks I didn't expect anything more. But the other day I sat at a professional station and soldered with a hot soldering iron, which warmed up in 30 seconds. It became terribly inconvenient for me to solder with soldering irons of the Try to warm up brand.
Of course, I got into Google to find out where and how to buy a used or new station, but I realized that I absolutely do not understand what brands, where, how and how much you can take. Where what price ranges and what what.
Here, I would like to know where you can humanly read about what is on the market. Including about tin and its qualities (because there are lovers of soldering with tin here “You’ll tear the horseradish from the sting”).
In short, direction is needed.
By the way, if anyone can tell me where you can get a very good used station on eBay and similar sites, I will be very grateful.

I have been using a Den-on SS8100 soldering iron for many years , warming up to operating temperature in 30 seconds. temperature control in 1 degree increments. Stings do not burn and are not produced over time. Temperature from 200 to 450 degrees.

I bought a Saike 898D
and soldering iron and hair dryer. I've been using it for a month, it seems to heat up quickly.

It depends on what kind of station, if for a lot of money - ersa. Good stations are made by hakko. A great option is the 936 model, however, it is now out of production :( But, there are still plenty of them on ebay. If it’s inexpensive, then lukey 936a, an almost complete copy of hakko, is quite possible to get somewhere for 1200 in local stores.

I would also take ersa if there is a desire to do this business professionally. In general, it is better to ask DIHALT , he will certainly help with the choice.

I took a lukey 852d + fan a year ago. almost completely satisfied. The only downside is that it hums even when it's off. At night, you have to pull out of the outlet so as not to annoy. On the forums, it is advised to disassemble and put a rubber band under the transformer, but it’s easier for me to turn off the toggle switch on the surge protector.
But keep in mind, usually the soldering iron in the stations is small. SMD soldering is great for them, and capacitors, especially in a multilayer board, you can warm up the figs. You have to get an old 60-watt soldering iron.

I chose a year ago. I looked through everything that is, incl. on the Mitinsky district. I settled on Weller WD 1000. I bought it and am very satisfied.
