How to deal with an inadequate client on Odesk

Good afternoon
I encountered on Odesk that the client was very friendly at first. After he saw the intermediate results of my work, he said that z did everything wrong, and he himself could finish the project. He offered to reduce the budget, or pay me $ 40 for the work done and leave. fixed price project.

The nuance is that I would not like to receive feedback from him, since the reviews of past clients are all 5 * for me. I once read in one of the articles on Habré that in such cases it is worth closing the project by refusing to pay: this way the client will not be able to leave a review.
Question: is it so?

So. If the contract value is zero, no responses are given. Well, or rather, they are put, but generally they are not taken into account in any way and are not displayed anywhere. If the client manages to make a payment, make a refund and close. You can close the project with the reason "Unprofessional conduct". For fixed-price contracts, support is not particularly bothered, so you can be calm in this case.

Thanks for the advice. Luckily, everything turned out a little better.
