Is it possible for a student to earn money by creating websites? How?

Good afternoon, I'm a student, I have a pretty significant amount of knowledge in web programming (Yes, yes, I know that it sounds like I think I know everything, it's not). But I can’t apply it anywhere, except to create, for example, a site for mom / dad at work. Can anyone suggest some freelancing exchange, without the need for premium accounts, without the need for a portfolio of 200 works, consisting of projects created by 10-15 people. Or maybe someone will be able to offer something other than freelancing? Thanks in advance.

In vain you underestimate the site for mom / dad for work . Mom and dad have friends, they may have older children and relatives who need a simple website that is not expensive. And if everything is really good with your knowledge, you can get 5-10 works in your portfolio, which is enough to start word of mouth.

1 tell mom-dad that you know how and want to work as a programmer, but for this you need their help as more experienced and older, so that they help and help how to find the first orders in your city. as loving parents they will help you, because your success and development is the goal of their life.
2 go to freelancehunt and puff yourself up, puffing and puffing. without using the help of ancestors inventing the wheel. 20 out of 70 percent still achieve something (paretto law).
normal parents help a child who wants to learn how to swim - they will lead him to the pool, buy a subscription.
there are unique ones who will throw a child into a pond saying "now swim." they say "my grandfathers taught me so." in the end, both they and the child will somehow row like a dog. and those who went to the pool - of which there are more options when a person will eventually swim correctly without straining and for pleasure.

About 20 years ago, my first site was also for my father at work. So it's good enough for a start. I think it was worth showing what you can do.

A portfolio will come in handy.
Knowledge of html & js & css
If there is no money for hosting, then you can lay it out for free through https://pages.github.com/
For one thing, it will be in the profile on the github.
Knowledge of php can be demonstrated on the same github.
This will not bring direct money / orders, but will help in finding employment in a web studio.

First you need to develop a portfolio. Google free PSD site templates and go.
On a premium account, borrow from your parents.

you go to an upwork, buy an account there with a portfolio and a rating, then you take orders and work)
if this doesn’t work, then earn a portfolio, the same sites for mom dad and their friends (word of mouth).

@Brotoster

Make a VK group, throw everything you have there, add people as friends, invite to the group, it's better than nothing)
