How to customize the appearance of Gnome?

I installed Fedora 24 Workstation. Decided to change the subject. Installed the extension User Themes. After that, there was a button in gnome-tweak-tool to add the Gnome-Shell theme. Added downloaded archive. After that, the added theme actually appeared in the list of Gnome-Shell themes. I applied it. But here it is not in the list of GTK themes. As a result, the shell itself looks as it should, and the windows and their paraphernalia look the same. Can you help me figure it out? Here is the topic itself .
Along the way, I would also like to deal with such things, so as not to ask a separate question:

  1. In the screenshot of the topic at the link below, there is, as it were, a line with applications taken out of the standard shell, or something. How can this be organized?
  2. And here is a similar "Sidebar" on the side (see Readme screenshots). This option is, of course, preferable. I will be very grateful if you tell me how to do it :)

PS Please do not stomp much, I'm new to this business.

У меня такое было, недавно поставил сам Федору, короче тебе нужно в настройках внешнего вида, поставить тему не только в "тема-Shell" но и выбрать ее для приложений.
