How to create virtual hard disk for guest in proxmox?

Kind!
Partly did not work with proxmox, I decided to practice. You need to create a virtual hard disk for guest Linux machines. Most manuals immediately make a soft raid. At this stage, this is not necessary. Just create next to the OS Wirth. hard drive and install the OS on it. I ask for help, so as not to stick for a long time, how to do this when adding a "Directory" in the web interface.

Somehow I didn't really get the point. Do you want to add another disk to the guest system?
If yes, then it is added in the properties of the guest system directly in the WEB interface. But where to physically place it - it's up to you to decide, you can as a file on the host system (by connecting the directory), or as an LVM volume on the same host system, or via ISCSI give this image a whole block device, or many more options.
If you have already created a virtual machine, then I see no problem in physically placing the second virtual disk next to the first.
