How to create subdomains without a hosting panel in digitalocean?

I didn’t set up a hosting panel and don’t want to, I don’t see the point. Here everything is more or less understood https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/h... . Then I just need to create a folder with the name of the subdomain on the server in the html folder?
