How to create an interactive offline storefront using consumer electronics?
Not so long ago I saw an interactive stand in Detsky Mir: a simple TV set, deployed vertically, is mounted in a decorated rack. Luntik jumps on the screen and carries some infantile nonsense. If the child stands on the mark marked on the shelf, then the character begins to repeat his movements, offers to play, dance, etc.
Looking closely at the stand, I saw a slot at the top, inside of which a simple kinect sensor is placed. The character control itself is implemented quite traditionally for the xbox: to start interaction, you need to raise your right hand up.
In fact, it was just a game launched on the xbox.
I googled this topic and found many demonstrations of such showcases, but they were all complex projects with software written for them using specific sensors.
So the question arose, is there ready-made software for organizing interactive showcases and presentations using available equipment?
