How to create a shared folder in VirtualBox?

After reading the subject of the question, I'm sure that you are already indignant and vehemently want to write to me, they say everything is in Google, they got noobs, but no. The question is not what you think. In general, I have Linux Mint and a virtual machine (Windows 7) on it through VirtualBox. How to set up a shared folder so that in Windows it is not in a network location, but in my folder created by me. For example, directly on the desktop.

If you create a directory called "vagrant" inside the project, it will work as the default shared folder. If you want to select a folder with a different name as a shared one, then you need to edit the boxing configuration in the Vagrantfile, something like this .

For example, directly on the desktop.

You just make a shared folder in the virtual machine settings, then connect it in the virtual system as a network drive and add a shortcut to this drive to the desktop.
