How to create a print nozzle?

There was an idea to create a unit for printing pictures with a phosphor on flat surfaces (board or canvas), making a coordinate table itself is not a problem on steppers, but I can’t figure out how to make an extruder so that you can more or less accurately dispense a drop of paint. Can someone tell me where to dig?

if the ink is very thick why not use something like a dot matrix printer?
