After experimenting with a macbook, in the end, only Windows remained on it, installed without bootcamp. Accordingly, there are no recovery partitions that are standard in mac os. How can you make a bootable USB flash drive without the help of another poppy to install mac os back on a macbook. At the moment, access is only to win machines. I would like to install mavericks right away, but if there is a faster or easier way, then you can use Lion or SL, and then upgrade through the MacAppStore
