How to correctly set up shortcuts on linux ( lmde 3 )?
Hello!
I came across an interesting feature (possibly with a bug) of Linux. I use linux mint debian edition 3 cinnamon desktop 64 bit
To switch the keyboard layout, I set up the ctrl + shift shortcut (according to old habit, like on wine). But one problem... all other shortcuts that use ctrl + shift + 'char' stopped working.
For example, in sublime, the shortcut for duplicating a line ctrl + shift + D does not work, more precisely, it does not have time to work, since it first works ctrl + shift ... and the layout changes.

Options:
1) reassign shortcuts in other programs
2) assign another one to change the layout, for example CapsLock
3
) assign not ctrl + shift , but shift+
ctrl
use geany
PS
to see what / how much you have bound on the ctrl + shift buttons
I always delete all the shortcuts that I do not use so that they do not interfere and do not conflict.
