How to correctly match in keywords?

Can you tell me how to correctly match keywords?
At the moment I am changing the matches with the built-in functionality in Google Ads:

But there is a broad match modifier, when a "+" is written in front of each word. At the moment I use phrase matching for most words. Or is it more efficient to use the broad match modifier? Is it relevant now to install this modifier?

It is more efficient to try different options and analyze the results.
Phrase matching cuts off most of the irrelevant queries, but the filter will also include good queries, possibly low-frequency ones, that could profitably bring customers to you.
For example, in your request, you have already cut off the options "buy a used profile pipe 40x20" or "buy a used square profile pipe". To avoid this when using phrase matching, you need to have all of these relevant queries in your campaigns. That is, the list of requests should be very large, it is rather difficult to take into account everything.
Therefore, you should start with phrases with broad match modifiers (it is not necessary to add "+" for prepositions and conjunctions), analyze the search queries that caused the display on them and, based on the results, add negative keywords or, if the query turned out to be too broad , use other matching options.
