How to cool a disassembled laptop?

There is an old laptop acer aspire 5551g 4 cores. As I was told, the problem with this laptop is that the laptop overheats and shuts down. As far as I understand, the problem is in the elements on the laptop board under the processor. The laptop used to warm up quietly to 90 degrees, and now it reaches a maximum of 60. I searched on the Internet how to make the cooler work 100 percent and realized that this was impossible through software and there were no cooler adjustment parameters in the BIOS. The cooler itself is good. Now it is disassembled as a home server, and the question is how to cool it? Now on top of the honey. I installed a second desktop cooler from the processor and connected it via USB, but of course, it does not spin at full power. Any advice on how to cool it down? Everything works stably and without jambs, if not for this overheating

try just putting a 120mm fan on top
or use a cooling pad
