How to connect to VPS on UBUNTU 18.04 from Windows 10?

I have a vps machine with UBUNTU 18.04 system, how can I connect to it from windows 10 via rdp? What modern utilities are there for both linux and Windows. What to put on Linux through the console and what to connect to Windows. I tried to install xrdp, after connecting from the built-in rdp from windows, the desktop lags wildly.

There should not be any "desktops" on the bubuntu on the VPS. openssh is already there and probably even launched, XShell works well on Windows (free for home or non-commercial use), there is free putty.

If with GUI - XRDP or VNC.
To work quickly and for real Linux users - SSH (PuTTY or another client)
