What's wrong with the native app installer in Ubuntu 18 desktop?

There is a fresh desktop Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS.
You need to install PyCharm and Visual Studio. I put from the standard installer, but they do not start. Those. I poke the shortcut, but nothing happens.
If you try to run it manually from the shell, you get the error dropping privs did not work.
What is wrong and how to fix it?
A separate download and launch through the terminal is some kind of perversion.

The main idiocy of the situation is that the snap-crutches through which the "standard installer" pushes them into the system, neither PyCharm nor VS Code fell to hell - both can be downloaded in a form ready for use without unnecessary dancing.
JetBrains IDEs are traditionally offered just in an archive that unpacks and works, while hyper-electron-notepad has a deb package.
