How to connect peripherals to a computer over a long distance?
How to connect a monitor, keyboard and mouse to a computer over a long distance?
There are two floors 1st and 3rd.
On the 1st floor there is a computer connected to the local network via a modem router.
On the 3rd floor, the 2nd router working in bridge mode connected to the first modem-router, monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Maybe you can organize everything through a local network? Or is it complete nonsense?
Taking a second computer and connecting to the first is one way, but is there another way?
The solution was found.
KVM extension cable is what you need. KVM stands for Keyboard Video Mouse
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ubt-Vnw7Qchere they tell how it works. The price of course bites (found for 80 green rubles) and the main condition only works directly through ethernet cat5, 5e and it seems also 6.
I still think whether to take it or not.
