What are some good and inexpensive HDD/SSD cages?

On the motherboard, there is nowhere to corny stick a 3rd hard drive. Heard there are hard drive cages with extra power. However, I do not fully understand the scheme for connecting such baskets. I tried a simple case for ssd c usb 2.0 and it's just money down the drain.

There are DAS devices - multi-disk baskets, connected locally via USB, TB, eSATA, SCSI, FC, etc.
There are NAS devices - multi-disk independent baskets, connected via lan. wifi
There are simply enclosures for one HDD 3.5 with external power supply.
Is there nowhere to put the third disk on the motherboard or in the case?
For the first - either usb or pci-e (m2) controllers / adapters to sata. Less common are sata expanders
For the second, on the same ali and other stores, there are, of varying degrees of clumsiness and value, baskets for 5 "slots, including hot-swappable ones, into which you can cram 3.5 disks into the case.

take usb 3.0 more expensive. but the speed will be higher (compared to 2.0)
can you still stick it into the case?) There would be a desire

As an option https://aliexpress.ru/item/32952703645.html for cases where there is no space for disks.
This scarf is stuck into a free memory slot, an ssd m2 disk is placed in the scarf and connected to the motherboard with a regular sata cable.
As an option - an adapter to the pci-e connector
. And just do an SSD, usually the disk is screwed stupidly with a coupler inside the case so that it does not hang out and they forget about it.
