How to connect OpenVox gateway to Oktell?

Good afternoon. There is an Oktell server and an OpenVox VS-GW1202-4G gateway. It is not possible to make friends with these comrades. I tried to connect it as a gateway and, on the advice of kind people, as a sip device. When you try to call the gateway, there are beeps, but absolutely nothing is recorded in Oktell. Maybe you need to raise an intermediate asterisk server? In theory, Oktell should be on the drum what kind of vulture device it is. Thank you in advance.
PS In working with asterisk, I am a complete teapot. Is it possible somehow to slip the Asterisk Oktell server as a GSM gateway, and how can this be done?

@Bessome

I see "expert advice" on the site. Can you call her?
Where is the server actually located? Where is the gateway?
Options:
1. Both behind nat
2. Both on the same subnet
3. Gateway behind nat, white IP server
4. White IP gateway, server behind nat.
How are you trying to connect? As I understand it, it is necessary that the gateway connects to the extension server. Or the gateway has its own port and from the server you can cling to the gateway as a trunk?
Here is a manual on how to hook on to an asterisk , octella basically has all the same actions
