How to connect bluetooth headphones Sony WH-1000mx2 to Windows 10 using an external bluetooth adapter?
I have Sony WH-1000mx2 headphones and a laptop with Windows 10.
Using the built-in bluetooth using Windows, the headphones are not connected at all, but I don’t really want to either, since the built-in bluetooth does not support AptX HD, but the headphones do.
I bought an external adapter ORICO BTA-403-BK with a CSR8510 chip.
Windows does not know how to connect through it. I suffered for a long time trying to install the CSR Harmony stack of different versions, but they still write an error during the installation process and are not installed on my win 10.
I found an alternative in the form of Toshiba Bluetooth Stack, which were even installed, they even connect headphones normally, but without a microphone, and he is also needed.
Tell me, what other options are there?

I have a BTA-403, red, in Windows 10 it worked right away when I plugged it into the port, with the standard Generic Bluetooth Radio driver. Bluetooth mouse, headphones, phone connected without problems on the standard driver.
There were no problems with the further installation of Harmony, I just downloaded the driver from offsite and installed it. www.orico.cc/drive.php
when you connect your ears with APT-x, a logo pops up in the corner.
That is, I can say that in a normal situation everything works out of the box.
I can advise you to remove all bluetooth drivers and try again with the drivers
