How to connect an ultrawide monitor to an Apple MacBook Air 13 Mid 2013?

Hello! Need help with connecting the LG 25UM58-P monitor to the MacBook Air 13 Mid 2013.
When connected via a Chinese hdmi to miniDP adapter, it is impossible to set the resolution to 2560x1080, the maximum available resolution is fullHD. Is it possible to somehow set the required resolution? MB need some other adapters, or poppy 2013 just simply does not support such a resolution?

Supports: https://support.apple.com/kb/sp678?locale=ru_RU
Maybe try via DVI, not HDMI.
