How to connect 3 molex coolers to 1 molex port?
After buying three new coolers to cool the case, I ran into a problem - I did not have enough molex connectors for connecting coolers (I foolishly expected that the molex cooler connectors would be inserted into each other, and I could connect them in series, like past fans, but new coolers, unfortunately, were equipped with standard plugs). From that moment, I decided to try on the role of an engineer.
I came up with the idea that I just need to insert the molex male of the bottom fan into the molex female of the power supply, then pull the herringbone plugs from the molex males of the remaining 2 fans, connect the 12v+ plug of the 1st fan to the 12v+ plug 2nd fan, do the same with the 0v+ plugs, and insert our 2 connections consisting of 2 plugs of the same kind into the molex papa at the back - first 12v+ plugs into the 12v+ bay, then 0v+ plugs into the 0+ bay: (attachment 1)
And the solution it seemed successful... (investment 2) until, after 3 hours, during a test load, after a power outage, my "made in china" power supply exploded, possibly taking all the iron with it (the power supply was manufactured before that, and I attributed the restarts to cooling problems).
Now, having collected all the resources for recovery, I wonder: could the explosion be caused by a short circuit, which was caused by this crutch with the fans connected, or were the fans connected correctly and the power supply just committed suicide?

God, holy, holy, I have never seen such a collective farm, what a horror

well, take a soldering iron, or at least if there is no soldering iron bite off the wires from the fans and make one good twist and wrap it with electrical tape
. And this is some kind of complete, fierce game, well, tin.
A person who uploads pictures to shithosting, and then cuts the links into pieces and sticks them in answers,
deserves to have his power supply blown up.
So you can assume that everything is in order, as it should be, suffer.
