When trying to download firmware from Atollic TrueStudio via ST-link V2 to STM32F103C8T6, it gives the following error:

I will not say 100%, but I have come across the fact that on bluepill boards with this controller there are not quite "honest" STM32s, because more primitive development environments work with them, and this IDE fails them.
But at the same time, you can try to connect to the same discovery board where the "correct" STM32s are located and it is quite possible that everything will work.
In any case, I came across this in my practice and therefore used other IDEs for bluepill boards.
