How to compile (install game) on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04)?

Hello!
Help me please. If possible, right on the list. I have games in tar.gz format - according to the "instruction", such as "go to directories, configure, compile" - it doesn't work. There is no .configure file in any archive with games. 5334880f27fa492d941f2a244e29a353.pngandd1ee175fc3cb449ca435045ac3b60dd4.png

There is nothing to compile here: the game is not free, it is distributed in binary form through steam.
Install the client (or more details here ), everything is done through it after logging into your account.
