How to fix Linux liblogging-stdlog: user name 'sed -i '...' too long - ignored [v8.24.0] error?

System: Linux SUSE 12
Initially made according to the guide, wrote the following:

liblogging-stdlog: action 'sed' treated as ': omusrmsg:sed ' - please use ': omusrmsg:sed ' syntax instead, 'sed' will not be supported in the future [v8.24.0 try www.rsyslog.com/e /2184 ]

Fixed sed to :omusrmsg:sed and now the following error occurs:
liblogging-stdlog: user name 'sed -i -...' too long - ignored [v8.24.0]

What is the problem, by the way, logged in under the root account

try removing the spaces in the string between the one in quotes/apostrophe and the next text. I had the same problem, and looking for a solution, I came across your post. I did not find the answer anywhere, I just noticed spaces and tabs in the line, removed them, restarted the service - the error message disappeared.
Maybe it will help you too. (that is, make sure that after for example this ':omusrmsg:sed' there should not be a space)
