How to check the operation of the Sierra Wireless 3g modem?

Hi all!
A modem arrived from Ebay, Sierra Wireless MC8781, inserted it into the connector, the RB912UAG-5HPnD board, nothing was added to the interfaces, there are no indicators on it, but it is warm. Reset did, flashed 5.26, to no avail, now the latest firmware. When connecting a telepone, a PPP interface is added. What to do, I have no idea. Has anyone experienced something similar?
