Take a THIN COPPER wire no more than 0.5 mm, and preferably 0.1-0.2, and no more than 10-20 centimeters long. This is so that there is less metal on the walls and burns out faster.
Turn off the sockets with a knife switch
. Insert the wire, cover or cover it with tiles. The wire can be wound around two weaving nails and inserted into a OFF SOCKET.
Get everyone out of this room.
Turn on the switch, wait 1-20 seconds,
turn off the switch and see the result.
If you insert the wire into a live socket, there is a good chance of getting hot copper spitting in your eyes or on your skin. Believe me, a lot of pleasant sensations are guaranteed.
And yes, most likely you were given an RCD., And rightly so. To read https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Differ_device...

Take a bare piece of copper wire, about a millimeter and a half in diameter, and plug it into an outlet. Just do not forget about protection from both electricity and a small explosion at the time of the cable burning and from a fire afterwards.
As a last resort, you will do a complete renovation of the apartment with chasing the walls.

Your grandfather also used such a TOP device =)
Previously, such devices were called "plugs", now - "automatic devices", RCD

Wangyu - or is it the so-called. "isolation transformer", or, more likely, a typical divorce.

I would use a fuse hidden in the box and connected with a piece of wire to the plug. Pros - safer than just a wire, it will burn out where it is needed and nothing will fly apart.

To begin with, it would be nice to voice the model of the device.
Then you can think about setting up an experiment.
