How to calculate terminal server configuration for 12 clients?
People need advice. There is a task: to calculate a terminal server configuration for 12 users. Now each user works on a laptop 4 years ago with Windows 7 (SSD, 4 GB RAM, Core i5). Everyone has an antivirus too. Enough, but no stock. Work: mail (mail programs, a lot of mail), documents and the Internet.
Users from their old laptops should work on the new terminal server without any problems.
The server is planned for Windows Server 2016 Std.
I understand that the people of the server pick up 100 clients per server and my task is not difficult, but I have never come across and I don’t want to buy suitable disks and screw up with the processor or memory. How to calculate server hardware?

1c per session eats about 600 meters of RAM, the office eats the same amount, I took with a margin of 2GB per user, everyone had enough, but we also have 30GB of opera and 290
Thanks again to everyone who responded, I will describe the real experience. As a solution, I use Azure, Win 2016 Std, Standard DS11 server configuration (2 vcpus, 14 GB memory). With 9 not very active users (mail, a little bit of documents, a little bit of a browser), the processor during working hours is from 20 to 50 percent loaded on average, up to 80% easily rises when everyone starts working. In general, I’m going to the limit on the processor, but so far it’s pulling and I’m not crying more than necessary. Memory per user on average from 300 MB to 1 GB. I use data disk with IOPS limit 2300, throughput limit (MB/s) 150. Antivirus - built-in MS. If the work goes more actively, the processor will almost certainly need a more powerful one. Browser page rendering is just awful, the biggest source of annoyance. I don’t know what to do with it - I don’t know how to rent a virtual video card, in general.
Those. memory is better to count min 500 MB, max 1 GB per user, and the processor, presumably, one MS virtual core for 3-6 users.
