How to block complex domain names?

Many firewalls support blocking rules for IP and domain names by mask, that is, using the asterisk character ( * ) and the question mark ( ? ), denoting any sequence of characters and any single character, respectively. Therefore, blocking addresses like *.yandex.ru (all subdomains) or 192.178.0.* (all such IP addresses with the last digit in the range 0-255 are blocked) is not a problem. However, what if you want to block domain names with much more complex names?

For example:

https://msedge.*.cdp.microsoft.com
http://msedge.?.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com
*.do.dsp.mp.microsoft.com

Those firewalls that I used (more than 5 different modern developments - both from anti-virus companies and other separate ones), unfortunately, when such blocking rules are introduced, they do not understand this spelling and give an error, or block everything incorrectly. How to block such addresses? Or maybe there are firewalls that understand this (preferably under Windows)?
