Operation of the USB to Lan adapter in OS Android
In the near future I want to buy an Android tablet. This tablet has 3G. And also Wi-fi but Lan port is missing.
Is it possible to connect the adapter via USB?
What "pitfalls" can be expected when working with this adapter?

It just won't work because there is no driver for Android. The device must support the USB OTG specification in order to connect to the tablet without problems.
Isn't it easier to buy a Wi-Fi router and use the strengths of the tablet (portability, light weight, solidity)?
There is an androyd tv whistle flashed to Linux, it works as a home server, a similar adapter is connected to it. I took 2 options for the adapter - the first one is what you have in the picture, although the seller claimed that it works at 100 Mbps, but he did not give out more than 10, the second www.tinydeal.com/usb-20-to-ethernet-rj45-network-a .. It costs more, but the speed gives out about 95 Mbps. Read reviews because the Chinese love to lie. I also checked on the Ainol ELF II tablet. It didn’t work on native firmware, but on custom, the cable connected via OTG started up without problems, it seems that at that time there was cyanogenmod.
Here I have the opposite.

With android 4.1.1
root www.tinydeal.com/usb-20-to-ethernet-rj45-network-a.. .- this adapter does not work for me. He just doesn't see it.
But this one worked itself - www.ebay.com/itm/USB-2-0-To-Lan-Ethernet-RJ45-Netw...
There are only troubles. You can’t enter the settings, the network is reset, you have to remove and insert the whistle again. Well, it’s better to immediately turn off the wi-fi, because it will interrupt. And another minus - no network settings. DHCP only.
