Usually (90-95%) manufacturers have their own utilities for managing battery operation. As Aleksey Nikolaev
noted , Lenovo laptops drive in a certain battery mode between 40 and 60%. If you constantly work from the cord: 1. check the box for maximum battery life time in the energy management program 2. Charge the battery to 50% and simply remove it.

From the absolutely correct general considerations of Artem , a specific recommendation follows: charge the battery by about 50% and put it in the refrigerator (not in the freezer). If you need battery life, get it, recharge it and use it. Then - again in the refrigerator.
Just bad luck. My laptop lives almost all the time at home, it works chaotically either from the network or from the battery, as it kept it for 4 hours a year and a half ago, and now it keeps about the same amount.
The battery is in the laptop all the time, I don’t take it out, the number of cycles is 182 according to the native program from HP.

I once got out of this situation like this - I charged a new battery, took it out, connected the laptop to an uninterruptible power supply, since the native battery also failed quite quickly with a constant connection.

Купите Lenovo. У них есть классная софтина - Energy Manager. Держит заряд на 60% даже когда шнур воткнут. Отличные ноутбуки.
