What's the easiest way to get 12V power from a laptop?
To connect 12V cooler.
From USB the cooler rotates slowly.

The laptop must have a hard drive or SSD. The SATA power connector has a +12V output. Take it from there, after making sure that there really is + 12v there (it may not be in modern laptops).
If +12 is not there, the only place to look for it is in the area of \u200b\u200bthe display backlight power circuit, but this is more dangerous.

1) Using a boost pulse converter (step-up dc / dc), we increase the voltage of the USB port to 7-12 V, not forgetting about the current limit of the port and the efficiency of the converter. There are converters on Ali, something like 50 rubles apiece.
2) Using a step-down pulse converter (step-down dc / dc), we lower the voltage from 19-20 V from the power supply to 7-12 V. There are converters on Ali, something like 20-30 rubles apiece.
