Hello, the question is exclusively about the Gimp 2 program, I do not use others. Tell me how to add sun rays or glare to a regular photo using Gimp 2 to make it look like a sunny day?

In the uppermost corner there is such an option
i.e. blending mode ..., here's a brief example of how I made a sunny day from a cloudy day ... separated for visibility,
everything else is done in this spirit .. huge brush .. transparency and blending mode
