How to add hardware raid 10 in already installed Windows Server 2016?
Hello!
Server on motherboard P5BV-C/4L
2 LSI Logic & Marvell controller raid
on LSI
- raid 10, Marvel - raid 1 ...
During installation, Windows was able to install drivers only on Marvell. Then successfully installed Windows.
How do I now add raid 10 from LSI to the system?
In Device Manager, Storage Controllers tab, both raid controllers are identified. But I don’t understand how I can now add a disk to the system.
Drivers from Marvell were also only for Server 2008, but they came up, but from LSI they didn’t want to install during installation, that is, they were found but not installed. Finally solved the problem like this
, I read the manual for the motherboard again and remembered that in parallel with the LSI there is an Intel raid controller, I switched the jumper on the motherboard and voila, the raid was determined immediately, I didn’t even have to install the driver.
