How to access the modem in bridge mode from the local network of the wi-fi router?
Good afternoon!
There is a ZyXEL P660RU3 adsl modem configured in bridge mode and an Asus rt-ac68u router that directly raises the pppoe connection.
How to correctly configure ip addresses and masks for them in order to get access to the modem admin panel from the local network?
I dug up a bunch of articles, tried to set it up, but it didn’t work out. Since I rarely deal with networks, I would like to get precise instructions. It may be necessary to configure some routes directly in the router itself. There are still doubts about the need to enable dhcp in the modem, whether it is necessary or better to manually register ip for the router.
Thank you for your attention!

ZyXEL P660RU - Network - LAN :
IP Address - 192.168. 2.1
IP Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0 Asus RT- AC68U
- Internet - WAN Connection Type - PPPoE
Get WAN IP Address Automatically - No
IP Address - 192.168.2. 2
Subnet mask - 255.255.255.0 Default
gateway - 192.168.2. 1
I hope you understand why 192.168.2.1? Because in Asus RT-AC68U the "local network" may already be busy - 192.168.
1.1 Access to the router - 192.168 .
1.1 Access to the modem - 192.168 . 2.1 _
In Asus rt-ac68u, you need to set up a route from the local network to the wan network. But usually access to the modem is not needed, because. in the bridge, it essentially performs only the function of an interface converter, and everything is driven on the router.
