How to access the local server as if from an external network (Internet)?
There is a local network. The Internet is distributed through a server under Win2008 with TrafficInspector.
On one PC, the service is running on the network, the program is listening to the port, the IP of this PC is indicated by the host.
Through TrafficInspector, this service is published on the Internet (there is a static IP) - when accessing an external IP on the desired port, the request is sent to the local PC on this port.
Everything works norms.
But if the local PC accesses the external address: port, then the connection does not work =(
It turns out that the redirection to the PC when accessing the external IP to the local PC made from the local network does not work =(
What to do?
UPD: the traffic inspector essentially works through Routing in WinServer. It turns out the question is how to make NAT loopback in WinServer
