How soon did you start freelancing?

Here the question is of interest, most of the freelancers at first worked in the office in their specialty, earned money, and for no matter what reasons they decided to quit their job and work for themselves as freelancers.
Answer the question, after how long did it take you to start earning the same money on freelance as in the office, and what kind of financial pillow did you have (in the amount of office salary, of course) when you left the office?

In freelancing, you can earn as much as you spend on this time.
If you spend 8 hours a day, you can get more office salary. The main desire and work.

ZP exceeded office somewhere in a year.
Even though I work twice as many hours.
The pillow depends on your needs, one RFP is enough.

For 4 years I earned $50 + 300 rubles. On guru.com and fl.ru
It was much better offline, but psychological problems forced me to abandon freelancing ventures. There you need to be able to soberly assess your capabilities, costs and obligations. And since I don’t know how to soberly assess this, that’s all, then I often let people down than help. I end up sitting in the office.
Although the trouble shooter is not cooler to find.

I combined it with my main job for about a year, then switched completely to freelancing, for the first half of the year it was purely rating, I don’t care how much they pay, the main thing is to get involved in interesting projects and do them well. After 9 months, the income was approximately equal, a year later I had a good opportunity to quit, well, I didn’t return to the office, so soon I’ll be freelancing / remote work for 5 years. I can’t compare it with the office in terms of income, I don’t know how much they pay there now, maybe more in general per month, my freelancer income is on average 3 kilodollars per month, I don’t know how much or not - I don’t have enough to live in the capital.

I didn’t work by profession before freelancing, but I know the level of salaries.
In the first month of freelancing, I earned an average office salary.
A year later, I doubled my earnings. In addition, he got a job in the office, where he earned about the same. In parallel, the level of earnings on freelance has doubled. Then he changed the provincial city to the capital and quit freelancing.
The pillow was minimal, literally for a "month to eat" + mortgage.
