How are salaries indicated/calculated on StackOverflow and HH exchanges?

Sorry for stupid question. I understand this correctly (see screenshot), salary for the year? (35k dollars/year, i.e. 3k dollars a month?) Or is this the amount from which God knows how much taxes will be deducted? (And then somehow straight, huge amounts there)

@rell_nx

usually "dirty" (excluding taxes) amounts are given because many countries do not have a fixed tax rate.

Depends on the specific employer.

By the way, this is not gross yet. The employer still has its own taxes, in addition to this amount.

Three thousand dollars in Russia is not at all a huge amount.
Half of them taxes remain 1500 on hand, which looks very real.
