How to start freelancing?

I know html/css, but I don't like it very much (how to say, passion, joy, but always when I see a finished site, I want something more), so I took up c#, and I start c++. But for now, I want to earn extra money (the goal is 100tyr, up to ng). I know how to typeset blocks, tables. I know html / css (finished courses), svg, a little php (the basics, but I don’t understand how to tie it all into one project). I know English badly, but I know how to use a translator. Not banned on google. Where to begin? What books to read, what to try to write, what technologies to study (tell me books / articles on js that relate specifically to layout), tell me exchanges, and where to start. Thank you.

Typical tasks: fix the layout, install WordPress, pull up the design, fix the WP module, make a php script. Those. and without the ability to do a turnkey project, everything is possible. If you are not confident in your abilities, take 2-3 small projects (for an hour) for feedback.

I literally reached the level of an adequate salary in a month. Register on any popular freelance exchange and monitor vacancies all day long, filling in those that you can afford. It is advisable to study some very popular cms, it will become much easier, and the range of projects that you can take on will expand.
The first week was absolutely calm everywhere, I paid for several accounts on several exchanges. Absolute silence. One person wrote during this time, asked for a portfolio, and I could only tell him about the experience and that's it. Do not take on what you cannot, there will be a minus of morality after excuses to the customer, and of course a negative review. And with 0 positive and 1 negative, you can, in principle, score on your account. But with the first employer and then with the first review, it became much easier to find orders, a maximum of 1-1.5 days. A month later, even a small base of regular customers accumulates.
And yes, 100t.r. more than 3 months is a very real amount. It all depends on how quickly you find the first client, the quality of your work and the time you devote to freelancing.

I do not advise learning C++, it seems to me that there are few tasks for it now.

1. Make your own website, where you describe your services, and for example, form other people's prices immediately, customers like a fixed price (for example: page layout 4000 rubles per 1 page, each additional 2000 rubles, correction of browser errors - free of charge, etc. .)
2. If you decide to go to the web (PHP + HTML + CSS), come up with 2-3 sites for yourself (ask your friends, acquaintances and make them free), for example, on any CMS like WOrdpress, Drupal, Joomla, at the same time and deal with them .
3. Walk around thematic forums talking about yourself and distributing a link to your portfolio site. There are a lot of forums and almost everyone has such a section, every evening if you spend 2-3 hours a week you will advertise well and reduce your trips to the forums to 1 hour in the next weeks.

Here I already wrote about books. If you need more literature, then ask ... I started from the freelancing site without a day's work, orders were without interruption.
I didn’t even stay there for a month, because they took me to a company for a permanent and beautiful projects in St. Petersburg, remote work, everything is fine ... fourth) give orders. The languages of the C family are useful to know, but the front end doesn't really need them. js is more important.
Choose a preprocessor for yourself (if css is ideal and have been writing styles for at least 6 months)
Read about different js libraries
See what mocha is (js library for testing)

oDesk.com and elance.com. English-language exchanges, the first one has more orders. Usually - you register there, expose your portfolio (screenshots / project descriptions, etc.), pass several tests (knowledge of the language, programming, etc.). Optional, but desirable as long as there are no customer reviews. And then - take on any small project, even for a penny, the main thing is to collect positive feedback from customers. There are a lot of web development and C# projects, get comfortable - you will learn new languages right in the process of the project))

study the market, look at what is in the highest demand and start from this
ready-made / free CMS worth exploring, such as joomla, etc. download free templates, look at hosting options for different tasks + read general things about Internet advertising + find a designer with the same expectations
after that you can safely look for a job, start small as they say above and it’s important not to frame only HTML (is it really in demand now in small tasks?), but to offer a full range of services, because no one asks you to do everything yourself
, in general, it seemed to me that you want money, but you are not interested in work, you have no practical experience and knowledge comes down to some kind of training ( theory), with such input, I would question the possibility of earning some serious money
