What should a small business choose in administration, freelancing or outsourcing?
We are a small business with 30 people.
Previously, one person worked as a system administrator, now he is going to quit.
We have a simple network and telephony, the other side of the issue is of concern, namely: commercial secrets. The enterprise has a lot of home-grown technologies that competitors would be glad to see. It is simply not possible to close all technologies from the admin. The old admin will pass on all the knowledge, with this no problem.
Who better to look for? There are a bunch of companies offering network and telephony support services. It seems to me that we are not the first who want to keep secret everything that we have. Or look for a student who will also come twice a week like the old admin? I ask for help, as I need to search quickly.
How is the issue resolved in your company?

Choose according to your budget and sign an NDA, a standard practice, only if your company has not officially introduced a trade secret regime, then this will be a useless piece of paper.
You are now looking in the direction of "technology retention".
And try to look in the direction of "building".
There will be more sense, because. here everything will rest on time, and not on carried away / not-carried away information ...
Do something new all the time and expand your business.
Close the completed core functionality (CORE) through modular APIs.
And in the development of people, let's have new modules.
And .... work and work)
